Lets face it, raising kids is NOT easy! It's downright scary, and can be really intimidating. Raising a child takes commitment and patience, everything else will fall into place if you can find those two important qualities within you. Anyone who irritably states that they have "Natural Parenting Skills" are kidding themselves. They may have patience, but when your kids demand your attention 24 hours a day, that patience really gets stretched, even in the MOST patient of people.

Being a good Parent is no secret, nor is it really all that complicated when you have the right tools and information to help and guide you. Its like anything else in life, if you don't know how to do something, you will do it badly. The more you know, the better you will be. But it will ALWAYS be hard! Kids are funny that way. They don't conform to any rules, nor should they! It's your job to adapt to them, not the other way around. It's like trying to be one step ahead of a storm that will last the rest of your life.

With CBFK, I want to convey some experiences, and techniques my wife and I use to raise our children. We have two beautiful girls that I want to raise healthy and strong. I don't want to sabotage their mental health because I was too lazy to learn why they were behaving the way they were, and how to deal with their every changing moods and passions. I have collected many different ideas and tried to categorize them by subject matter and problem area. Look through them, and decide for yourself what new techniques you need to help you raise your kids the way I want to raise mine. Healthy, happy, well mannered, confident, and respectful of the World around them.
